Context
An immersive exhibition introducing Philip Colbert's artistic universe to Japanese audiences and supporting the artist's expansion into the Tokyo market. Presented by Pearl Lam Galleries at M5 Gallery, Yurakucho.
Challenge
Adapt an internationally recognised artist's practice to Tokyo's design-conscious cultural landscape, and reconcile international creative expectations with Japanese production reality.
My role
Led local production: programming budget, vendor contracts, artist coordination, technical teams, exhibition infrastructure, art handling, international logistics, installation, launch events and VIP hospitality.
Outcome
An immersive project launched in central Tokyo, connecting contemporary art, spatial experience and design to a local audience - and new relationships that outlived the run.
